Fractional Community Management for a High-Level B2B Network of Enterprise Marketers
The Marketing Leaders Network is an invite-only community of senior B2B marketers. After completing a full Circle build with a previous consultant, they were ready to go live but lacked in-house capacity and expertise to activate the space. They brought me in to guide the next phase, bringing structure, clarity and connection to a promising but dormant community.
The Approach
I approached this project by first getting clear on the network’s goals, the needs of its members, and the priorities shaping its future through a series of exploration calls. With that insight, I moved quickly to align purpose with experience and bring structure to the community’s foundations.
The first six weeks focused on creating clarity, coherence and early momentum through:
✸ Rewriting the entire landing page to clarify messaging and attract the right members
✸ Streamlining and restructuring the internal Circle space for ease and clarity
✸ Retiring the free tier that was muddying the engagement journey
✸ Designing and hosting early networking events to build relationships and set the tone
Building on Strong Foundations
Those first six weeks offered coherence and early momentum that set the tone for connection.
Since then, I’ve continued to build momentum, coordinating a high-impact external webinar to support lead generation, delivering a member-led Storytelling Roundtable that sparked meaningful conversation, and crafted the full 2026 network strategy to align business goals with community growth.
By testing small ideas, listening closely and iterating quickly, I’ve helped the network move from uncertainty to confidence and from confusion to momentum.
The Skills
This role has drawn on my full range of strategy and facilitation skills. I brought clarity to a complex ecosystem, translated vision into action and infused the space with creativity and warmth. My ability to zoom out and map the big picture, while also jumping in to host, post and experiment, has helped the network build confidence in its direction.
